Fort Morgan Laundresses appreciate help with sale
The Fort Morgan Laundresses and I would like to thank everyone who helped
make our Cannon Fund sale a success:
The ladies of the Fort Morgan Civic Association for the lovely cookies,
candies and cakes; Ann Browdy, Robin Ross, Roxann Mathers, Chann West, Marge
Keenan and Mildren Hanson for their beautiful crafts; ron Favis of the 21st
Alabama for giving up his Saturday morning to be with us in uniform; and Glenn
Stevens for his help moving us in and out for the sale.
A special thanks to Charles and Wylene Ebert for their generous donation;
Guy Busby for his great article -- it brought people out looking for us; and Dan
Marshall from the fort who patiently helps the Laundresses.
Last but not least, thanks to Kay Stevens and Mary Ross for their
unending support of our effort to assist the fort any way we can. Thanks
